THIS WEEKEND!!! send us all some good vibes!!..... Its a year later and the Hartford Half is tomorrow! ... we will see how it goes... Last year Joyce was no where to be found after collapsing on the sideline.... not even a half a mile into the start time of the race.... only to find out later that was her on the stretcher headed to the ER.... she broke her FEMUR!! OUCH!! she is back determined this year to finish and do her personal best!!!!!!! My brother Kevin is in the HALF this year.. un like last year... the race filled up as they were on line the day before... sweating to grab a spot in race... and it CLOSED! heartbroken... and disappointed......he and his wife Tina settled for the ING 5k.. and did fabulous... but back again by the skin of his teeth... Tina signed him up... and he is ready for a challenge....!! as for me.. well... im looking forward to another blING AND for some water at the finish line........ also:....Dave will be running this weekend in CHICAGO... thanks to JENN YAMIN...and her team of 6 ... taking on the challenge of a FULL 26.2 miles....to run the Chicago Marathon on Sunday.. they have been training for months..... thats 39.3 miles of angel wings on our sneakers!!!!!! THANKS GIRLS!!!!!KEEP CHECKING BACK......photos and stories to come.... after this weekend!!!
