...giving up her crown 5.30.09
Good evening everyone!… Tonight I will be giving up my title and passing it on to one of these amazing girls.Over this past year I participated in several events such as Crowns for the Cure, Afternoon Tea, and my appearance in the Apple Harvest Parade. My Poppies boxter was really cool to ride in and I had a lot of fun.
I would like to thank my mom for always being there for me… Whether it was to give me a fabulous “up do” or sewing me my dance costume… or pinning my dresses… She has always been by my side and it helps knowing I can count on her! I would also like to thank my Mimi Pat that is in the audience! She is the best at coming to watch me at my functions and always there giving me high fives and bear hugs.
To Shannon, Lyndey and Sidney my pageant girls… you are all so wonderful to hang out with and all of you are so nice…thanks for being you!
I would like to say congratulations to all the contestants this year… to each and everyone of you who were brave enough to get on stage and have done your very best… you are all winners!!… finding your self confidence… making new friends, and having fun is what matters most.
In closing, I would like to say thank you to my Dad up in heaven for guiding me in a positive direction over this difficult and trying year. He’s is always with me in spirit and I just wanted to say I LOVE YOU!
I am Madison Yurgaitis your reining Little Miss Southington 2008
