me and todd finish... even though it was 34* the sun was out and not much wind.. ended up being a fabulous race with a great course to run.... !!! well worth the challenge !!

Aunite Maria.. who is Daves brothers wife... went with me to packet pick up in Blue Back Square the day before the race... we decided to eat at the Cheese Cake Factory before hand.... as always... there is a story about Dave in any of my races i do... which i believe he is there cheering me on... well.. anyways... the restaurant was busy... and the hostess decided to squeeze us into a table for two... i was like.. noo... id rather wait for a booth... well she leaves and i turn around to show Maria that the last time i was at the Cheese Cake Factory was that Sat night before Dave passed away... we all ate there along with my inlaws.... and as i tell Maria this story... i point out the booth we all sat at...... well no more then a few seconds later.. the hostess comes up to us and says..... you can sit THERE!! i was like are you kidding me!!!??? of all the table in the restaurant we get the table we all once sat at!!!! ironic .. and cool at the same time!! thanks DAVE for a sign!
so ... i unpack Carson back pack this morning and i'm shuffling through his folder..... and i find this project that he was working on... the drawings were not finished yet.. but the most important part was...brought tears to my eyes.....
1.For my kids.. they have been my rock.. reason to keep living…reason to get up every morning
2.Thankful I can still stay at home with my kids while they are growing up... wouldn’t want to miss all the silly things that happen… things that make mecrack up.. things that make me cry….

3.For MANNY….. who is always there for me and my kids.. its been a HUGE HUGE HELP.. that my brother is able to be with us at a drop of a hat.. THANK YOU BILLY!
4.I know this sounds so not even…. But in today’s era … whatwould we do without FACEBOOK FRIENDS?... I cant even imagine…thank you for all the new old friends that I have made and those that I have reconnected with over this past year.....and being able to access you at my fingertips...!! thank you for CELL PHONES w/ data.!!!

5.My two feet!! ...Surely I know why god gave me them.. its to continue to run for DAVE!! …strength to continue to put the miles on my sneakers.. Dave certainly would be proud of all the hours of hitting the pavement…somehow I think he would be able to except the cost of my sneakers$$$…the spandex... race fees.. travel to and from the races..thanks Dave!! I miss you!! xoxoxo
6.My laundry fairy.. THANK YOU.. you know who you are.!!!.the PILES!!!... always been a problem.. continues to be one… some things never change!! …..
7.My camera…!! Always ready for a Kodak moment.. thank you for the gift "the love of photography".. its therapyfor me to photograph children and families.. all the smiles make me happy..

8.All my running buddies and ones I have met by chance along the way!!! to Auntie M and Liss , Darlene and Joyce and my brother Kevin and auntie Tina... you guys are great… the motivation.. the stories.. the thrill of the finish… you girls are inspiring . …keep up the running… we will make it a full some day!
9.To new and old relationships… the friendships that have lasted and then there are those that have parted .. the people that have come in and out of my life..the ones who stayed through thick and thin…the lessons learned.. the challenges… finding the positive through the pain and tears,,.. to accept life isn’t alwaysperfect… knowing how to react to change….being able to "let it go".. …… the freedom of choice..thankful for being able to choose again eachnew day….finding,… wisdom and spiritual power to decide correctly or incorrectly and learning from it... believingin yourself and others….and to be able to move on.. thankful for the knowledge of tools.. books and having faith…..without all that… life can be more of a struggle then it has to be.
10.For being able to except what has been put upon you… knowing that each day is a day to discover the new you.. and what you are made of… discovering what you need to do to keep moving forward…

FINISHED... way to go..... me and Kathryn finish with in seconds of each other.. we are looking for the rest of our team members... food... water...
